Danny Lee Lemmon

Danny Lee Lemmon, 66, passed away on August 21, 2021, at his home in Banner, MS.

Danny was born on December 5, 1954, in Flint, MI, to Clifford Lemmon and Ruth Sheffield Lemmon. He graduated from Southaven High School class of 1973 and was a self employed Taxidermist.

Danny married Gayle Neal Lemmon. The couple had 2 children Daniel Hunter Lemmon, of Banner, MS, and Bruce (Shayne) Lemmon, of Oxford, MI.

Danny was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer and turkey hunting as well as fishing. He was a member of Ellard Baptist Church.

Danny is survived by sons Daniel Hunter Lemmon of Banner, MS, and Bruce (Shayne) Lemmon of Oxford, MI; sister Theresa (Tim) Hankins of Booneville, MS; brothers Rocky (Deborah) Lemmon of Byhalia, MS; Scott (Marilyn) Lemmon of Nesbit, MS; Mark (Terri) Lemmon of Olive Branch, MS; and grandchildren Sonny Lemmon and Drake Lemmon.

Danny was preceded in death by his wife Gayle Lemmon and his parents Clifford and Ruth Lemmon.

A graveside service for Danny Lemmon will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Banner Cemetery, Banner, MS, with Bro. Kevin Chrestman officiating. Pallbearers will be Felipe Berozsa, Clint Lemmon, Jacob Lemmon, Chase Nichols, Jack Nichols, and Charlie Spradling. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeremy Aron and David Bramlett.
