David Allen McGregor, 56, departed from this life on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. Born on December 12, 1965, in Vardaman, he was a son to Robert Earl McGregor and the late Charlene Williams McGregor.
David, a 1984 graduate of Vardaman High School married his loving wife Kimberly Dawn Stewart on June 20, 1987. This union not only lasted for an expansive thirty-four years but also gave life to two children, three grandchildren, and numerous memories made along the path of life. In addition, he loved traveling, especially North to the Great Smokey Mountains and Cedar Cove. Aside from his love of traveling, David cherished his family and adored his grandchildren. He attended First Baptist Church of Vardaman where he learned about the many wonders of the Lord and the salvation found in Christ. Although David has departed from our lives, his treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of his loved ones.
Those left to continue walking down the path of life in his absence include loving wife, Kimberly Dawn Stewart McGregor; one son, Wesley Allen McGregor of Vardaman; one daughter, Kristen (Casey) Lambert of Booneville; father, Robert Earl McGregor of Vardaman;brother, William Earl (Natalie) McGregor of Vardaman; three grandchildren: Kamreyn Lambert, Hunter McGregor, and Andrew McGregor.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Williams McGregor.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman, MS. The funeral service honoring David's life will take place on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman with Bro. Jonathan Peeples officiating. Patrick Crum, Shane Langford, Brett Sutherland, Craig Williams, Danny Williams, Don Lewis Williams, Roger Williams, Randle Wright, and Tim Wright will carry David to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery.
