Delmer Loretta Sanders, 78 of Pittsboro, Mississippi died on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at her residence in
Pittsboro, Mississippi.
Born Friday, August 16, 1937 in Sarepta, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Graden Dean Lockhart and Nettie Sanders Lockhart Strickland. She was the wife of the late Bertram "Buddy" Sanders. She was a cosmetologist, attended New Gauley Baptist Church, a member of DAR, Eastern Star and a Master Gardener.
Surviving are daughter, Lori Stewart of Water Valley, MS, sister, Oleta Davis of Banner, MS. Granddaughters,
Rebecca Stewart and Courtney (Jonathan) Stegall , Two Great grandchildren, Stabler Stegall and Tatum Stegall.
She was preceded in death by brother, Byron Lockhart, sisters, Kather Goodson and Shirley West.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Howard Rodgers officiating. Interment will be in New Gauley Cemetery, Calhoun City, MS.
Pallbearers will be James Mayhan, Troy Moore, Jody Stegall, Josh Stegall, George Stewart, Bryan Welker, and Robert Welker.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at Parker Memorial
Funeral Home, 476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
