Denzel Logan, 85 died on Friday, February 19, 2016, at Calhoun Health Services Nursing Home in Calhoun City, Mississippi.
Born Friday, December 19, 1930 in Bruce, he was the son of the late Warren Craton Logan and the late Bessie Sartin Logan.
He was the husband of the late Lola Wayne Ivy Logan.
He worked as an avid "short shot" truck driver for Mapletree in Indiana until his bad health three years ago.
He was a Veteran of The Korea conflict.

Rogers of Bruce, MS, granddaughter, LaDonna Burt husband Jody of Bruce, MS. great-grandson, Braiden Lee of Bruce, MS.
Great- granddaughter Aubrey Lee of Bruce, MS Grandson, T.J. Logan of Charleston, MS. Grandson, Gage Rogers of Bruce,
MS and granddaughter Ivy Rogers of Bruce, MS. sister, Maeford husband Levoy Winters of West Point.
He was predeceased by brothers, Willie Logan and Randall Logan, sister, Carris Crocker.
A graveside service will be at 4:00 PM on Saturday at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Phil Logan officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Bruce, MS.
Pallbearers will be Jody Burt, Joe Cowsert, Mark Logan, Phil Logan, Jeff McCormick, Stoney Moorhead, Ricky Joe White, and James P. Winter.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home,
476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
