Donald Gordon Cook, 79 of Pittsboro, Mississippi died on Monday, May 26, 2014, at His Residence in Pittsboro, Mississippi.
He was born on May 8, 1935 in Bruce,MS. He was preceded in death by His Parents, Jess and Lucy Stark Cook, One Sister, Bennie Faye Judon, One Son in Law: Jimmy Zinn, One Grandson: Andrew Turner, and
One Great Grand.

He was Retired from Pontotoc Electric Power Association and a member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church.

He was an Avid Hunter, He Loved Hunting with Hounds. He was one of the Nations Top Breeders of Trigg Fox Hounds. Gordon was know as a people person that never met a stranger. He loved and cherished all friends that he made through the years.

He is Survived by His Wife: Audrey Lee Wright Cook of Pittsboro, MS,
Four sons, Jeff Cook of Pittsboro, MS, Scott Cook of Pittsboro, MS, Jerry (Tina)Turner of Water Valley, MS and
Steve Turner of Florence, MS, Three daughters, Debra (Vince) Harrell of Bluffton, SC, Patrica Zinn of Bruce, MS and
Diane McKnight of Memphis, TN, brothers, Roy Cook (Vivian) of Destin, FL and B. J. Cook (Eleanor) of Hilton Head
Island, SC, sister, Dorthia Baker of Pittsboro, MS; 12 grand children; 16 great grand children, 5 Nephews and 4
Nieces.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Comfort Baptist Church in Bruce,MS with Bro. J. R. Eaton Officiating.

Burial will be in Providence Cemetery, Banner, MS.

Pallbearers will be: Bobby Gordon Brown, Jerry Coleman, Charles Parker, Jimmy Pennington, Bobby Wells and Cody Weeks.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Aaron Brown, Ted Camp, Bobby Albert Chrestman, Scott Collins, Jason Cook, MichaelCook, Gregg Gillis, Jimmy Hubbard, Dave Lewis, J. B. Rogers, Charlie Spratlin, and Jerry Tutor, Members of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class at Mt. Comfort Baptist Church, Current and Retired Employees of PEPA, and
Members of the Trigg National Fox Hunters Association.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Mt. Comfort Baptist Church in Bruce, MS.
