On August 4, 2019 Dustin Lee Wilburn, 31, was called into rest at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis after a car accident. He was born on May 2, 1988 to Chris Wilburn and Laura Miller Gulledge.
If you were to look in the dictionary for the word love and care Dustin Wilburn would be listed as an example. Once you managed to get passed his guard you would find, Dustin cared for his friends like family, and his family like royalty. Dustin was a blessed father of two beautiful children that he cherished, Dustin Trey and Natalie Brook Wilburn, and would go to the ends of the Earth for his babies; He shared that same love for his nieces and his nephews. Beside his family, Dustin loved Dogs, and was further infatuated with the strength and beauty of American Pitbull Terriers. Like any man guns peaked his interest. Dustin was employed with Lochend Energy Services Inc. as a Flowback Operator. The most important thing about Dustin, he accepted the cleansing blood of Jesus, and was a member of Liberty Road Baptist Church.
Dustin’s absence has left a void in the lives of those he cared for, but that void is filled with warm memories of his time here on this Earth. He leaves behind his parents; Chris (Dedra) Wilburn, and Laura (Robert) Gulledge; One Son, Dustin Trey Wilburn; One Daughter, Natalie Brook Wilburn ;Three Brothers, Colby (Paige) Gulledge, John Michael (Cassi) Crews, and Tyler Wilburn; One Sister, Dixie (Patrick) McCulloch; Maternal Grandparents, Billy and Anne Miller; Paternal Grandfather, Billy Wilburn; Girlfriend, Corey Carlisle.
Dustin was preceded in death by his Brother Joshua Wilburn, and Cousin Stephen Baker.
The family will receive friends on August 7, 2019 from 5:30-9:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce.
