Dwight Nolan Cook, Jr., 72 of Vardaman, Mississippi died on Sunday, March 3, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in
Tupelo, Mississippi.
He was born Friday, June 8, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Dwight Nolan Cook, Sr. and Wanda
Stuber Cook. He served in Vietnam with the United States Army and worked in the Maintenance Department at American
Furniture. He attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church. He was predeceased his parents and a brother, William David (Billy) Cook.
He is survived by a sister, Sue Johnson of Granite City, IL. Two Nephews, Chris Graham and Wife Jamie of Vardaman and Jonathan Graham of Oxford, MS. His Girlfriend, Linda Bacon of Thibodaux, LA.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with the Bro. Benny Hill officiating.
Burial will follow in Poplar Springs Cemetery, Vardaman, MS.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Vardaman, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude.
