Earline Harper, passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 95 in Baptist Memorial Hospital of New Albany, Born on June 22, 1929, Earline was known for her caring nature and warm smile. She took great pleasure in the simple joys of life, finding happiness in listening to music and staying active through exercise.
Earline is survived by her son Larry Hood (Joyce) Walls, Pontotoc, a daughter Reta Gail (Bruce) Crittenden, Milton Freewater, OR, and sister Jane Bennett, Amite, LA. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A public viewing for Earline will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS, on August 27, 2024, at 10:00 am. Following the viewing, a funeral service to honor her memory will take place at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am with Bro. Jessie Curtell officiating..
Earline will be laid to rest in Rocky Mt. Cemetery.
Earline was preceded in death by: husband, Winston Harper a WWII veteran of the 82 nd. Airborne Division, father, Sim Davidson, mother, Ida Galloway Davidson, daughter, Linda McKee, sisters, Ola Pearl Cantrell, Bertha Mae Suggs, Mildred Blocker and Verlon Howard, brothers, L.V. Gregory, George Davidson, Eddie Davidson, Brady Davidson, T. Davidson and S.T. Davidson.
