Edmon Garnell Flowers, 86 of Vardaman, Mississippi died on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Calhoun Health Services Nursing
Home in Calhoun City, Mississippi.
Born Tuesday, March 4, 1930, in Vardaman, MS. he was the son of the late Jessie Flowers and the late Madie Winter
Flowers. He was the husband of Evelyn White Flowers.
He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Vardaman, He served in the US Army in the Korean Conflict. He was a
devoted husband and loving father.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn White Flowers of Vardaman, MS. daughters, Sandra (Tony) Howard of
Collierville, TN and Mary Evelyn (Danny)Clark of Vardaman, MS, sisters, Louise Wooldridge of Mobile, AL and
Lavelle Sullivan of Hernando, MS; 4 grand children; Allison Clark; Eric Clark; Dana (Patrick) Warman; Michael
(Kristina) Howard; Three great grand children, Carson, Falon and Mallory Warman.
He was predeceased by brothers, Earl Flowers, Jessie Oscar Flowers, Jr. and Bobby Flowers.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at Elzey Cemetery with the Bro. Fred Hartley and Bro. Gladwin Carpenter
officiating. Interment will be in Elzey Cemetery, Vardaman, MS.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, April 1, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in
Vardaman, Mississippi.
