Emily Dale Bollinger

Emily Dale Bollinger, 82, passed this earthly life on Friday, December 3, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 18, 1939, in Mashulaville, MS, to her late parents Vallie Dowling Sennett and Mavis Eaves Sennett.

Dale was a devoted homemaker that loved and enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking and providing them some southern home cooked hospitality.  She and her husband previously owned and operated Southside Grill in Bruce.  She was an active member of Parker Baptist Church until her decline in health.

Dale was preceded in death by her parents Vallie Dowling Sennett and Mavis Eaves Sennett; husband Thomas Eugene Bollinger; daughter Tommie Jean Bollinger; and sister Shirley Hughes.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter and caregiver Kimberly Bollinger, Bruce, MS; sons: Keith Bollinger, Bruce, MS; and Karl (Lisa) Bollinger, Bruce, MS; brother Vallie (Rita) Sennett, Fultondale, AL; grandchildren: Melissa Jan (Damon) Bumgart, Bruce, MS; Jessica Dawn (Hunter) Barefield, Banner, MS; Casey (Brittney) Vance, Holcomb, MS; and Dustin Vance, Portland, OR; great-grandchildren: Jack Thomas Barefield and Zane Thomas Bumgart.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. A graveside service honoring Dale’s life will be Sunday, December 5, 2021, beginning at 3:00 PM at Bruce Cemetery with Bro. Paul Morris officiating. Pallbearers will be Colby Bollinger, Eddie Bollinger, John Bollinger, Brian Lutton, Adam Morris, Kenny Phelps, and Casey Vance.  Honorary pallbearers are Hunter Barefield,  Terry Blount, Anthony Bollinger, Matthew Bollinger, Damon Bumgart, Bryan Chrestman, Jacob Chrestman, and Tristen Jones.
