Ernesto Murillo Hernandez

Ernesto Murillo Hernandez, 34, of Vardaman, MS departed from this life on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Baptist Hospital in Calhoun City, MS. He was born on November 07, 1988, in Cerritos, San Luis Potosi to Pedro Murillo and Rafaela Hernandez.

Ernesto worked for C&W Farms for 19 years. Ernesto loved to spend time with his family. He attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Silvia Hernandez; father, Pedro Murillo; mother, Rafaela Hernandez; two daughters: Joselyn Murillo; Vanessa Murillo; and two step-daughters: Lyla Reyna; Genesis Reyna; three nephews: Francisco Murillo, Adalberto Murillo, and Aleida Murillo.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Vardaman. The mass celebrating Ernesto's life will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at  3:00 PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Houston with Rev. Timothy Murphree officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Jose Garcia, Felix Gonzalez, Victor Gonzalez, Rogelio Hernandez, Adalberto Murillo, and Francisco Murillo will serve as pallbearers.
