Eunice Marie Moore

Houlka-Eunice Marie Moore, 82, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Calhoun City, Mississippi. She was a homemaker and former employee of Glenn Slacks and a member of Schoona Valley Baptist Church.

She was born Saturday, August 31, 1935 in Calhoun County to the late parents of Leon Hardin and Jewel Barefield Hardin. She was preceded in death by her first husband Everett Lee Brassfield and her second husband Thomas Delaine Moore, a son, Tommy Brassfield, daughter, Hope Brassfield,  three brothers, Fred Hardin, Wilburn Hardin and Otis Hardin, a sister, Willie Jean Reynolds, a stepson, David Moore, and  a grandson, Steve Terry.

She is survived by four sons, Rodney "Tina" Brassfield of Vardaman, MS, Lester Brassfield of Houlka, MS, Thomas Delaine Moore, Jr. "Maria" of Houston, MS and Christopher Lynn Moore "Beth" of Tupelo, MS; two daughters, Pamela Kay McGreger of Vardaman, MS and Melissa Ford "John" of Big Creek, MS; a brother, William Hardin "Carolyn" of Big Creek, MS; three sisters, Martha Crutchfield of Calhoun City, MS, Jimmie Osborn "Archie"  of Grenada, MS and Shirley Jones"Edward"; 15 grand children; 44 great grand children.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476 Hwy.9N., Bruce, Mississippi.

The Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Linn Hughes and Bro. Robert Earl Alexander officiating. Interment will be in Oak Springs Cemetery in Derma, MS.

Pallbearers will be Casey Brassfield, Codey Brassfield, Corey Brassfield, Gary Moore, Joseph Moore, Chris Terry, Dillan Webb and Michael Williams.
