Water Valley, MS.- Eva Mae Bruner Newsom, 95, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS. She was born July 5, 1922 to the late parents of John Robert Bruner and Effie Allen Bruner. She was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earnest Opal Newsome,  a son, Robert Newsome, three brothers, Ralph, Robert and Raymond Bruner and two sister, Lora Allen and Lena Gibbs.

Survivors are her three daughters, Myra Harris, Banner, MS, Joan Glover “Thomas” Paris, MS, Carolyn Shaw “Malcom”, Coffeeville, MS; two sons, Billy Newsome “Annie”, Bruce, MS, Mike Newsome “Anita”, Bruce, MS; twelve grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm and the services will be at 2:00 pm at Turkey Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Charlie Fitts officiating.

Pallbearers will be nephews and grandchildren
