Evelyn Hayes Spratlin, 93 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Monday, December 7, 2015, at Bruce Community Living
Center in Bruce, Mississippi.
Born Saturday, July 1, 1922 in Calhoun County, she was the daughter of the late Mack Hayes and Clara Parker
Hayes. She was the wife of the late Ruel Spratlin.
She was a devoted member of Bruce First Baptist Church where she taught many genrations of children in Sunday
School. She enjoyed cooking and gardening providing for her friends and family.
Surviving are sons, Fred Spratlin and wife Sarah of Germantown, TN. Larry Spratlin and wife Barbara of
Murfreesboro, TN a brother, Albert Hayes; grand children, Kristin Midgett, David Spratlin, John Spratlin, and Lauren
Spratlin; 5 great grand children.
She was predeceased by brothers, Jerry Hayes, Robert Hayes, Buford Hayes, Edward Hayes, Max Hayes and
Lawrence Hayes, sisters, Lorene McGregor and Betty Blevin a grandchild Nikki Coleman.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Daniel
Hathorne officiating. Interment will be in Bruce Cemetery, Bruce, MS.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home, 476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
