Frances Adkins

Frances Aldridge Adkins, 86, of Calhoun City, Ms. passed this life on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Calhoun Health Services Nursing Home.

She was born in Chickasaw county on March 19, 1933 to the late parents of John Earl Aldridge and Lois Allred Aldridge. Also preceded in death by her husband, William B. Adkins, a brother, Owen L. Aldridge, nephew Brian Keith Aldridge.

Frances enjoyed working with her hands, making beautiful projects with her talent of knitting and crocheting. Her former years she worked as a beautician and had been formerly employed at Kellwood and retired after working at Holley Carburetor. Frances was a member of Tillatoba Baptist Church.

She is survived by a brother, Gary Aldridge and wife Linda of Calhoun City, Ms., a sister-in-law, Donnie Aldridge of Hernando, Ms., niece Sherry Williams and husband Steve, nephew, John Aldridge and wife Angelia, a great niece, Brittany Aldridge and great nephew Jonathan Aldridge.

Visitation will be held starting at 12 noon until service time Saturday March 14, 2020 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Ramage officiating. Burial will be in the Cross Roads Cemetery in Calhoun City, MS. Pallbearers will be Men of Tillatoba Baptist Church.
