Gary Thomas Moore

Gary Thomas Moore,59 of Oxford, MS.  a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. Born on June 8, 1965, in Bruce, MS, Gary sadly departed from this world on September 26, 2024, at his home in Oxford, MS.

Gary was a dedicated construction worker, employed by Grantham Construction. His passion for his work was evident to all who knew him, as he poured his heart and soul into every project he undertook. Beyond his profession, Gary was a man of many interests, finding joy in riding his Razor UTV, camping under the stars, drag racing, and embracing his skills as an excellent shade-tree mechanic.

Not only did Gary excel in his professional and personal pursuits, but he also dedicated a decade of his life to riding with the Dream Riders, fostering camaraderie and making lasting memories through his shared love of the road.

Gary will forever be remembered by his wife, Sherene Moore, his children, Jennifer (Justin) Johnson, Brittney Moore Graham, James McCullar, and Justin Moore, as well as his siblings, Virginia Moore, Thomas Moore, and Christopher Lynn Moore and seven grandchildren.

To honor Gary's life and legacy, a public viewing will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home on September 30, 2024, at 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Following this, a Funeral Service will take place at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on October 1, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Bro, Ken Hanks officiating. Finally, Gary will be laid to rest at a burial service on October 1, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Rose Hill Cemetery in Houlka, MS. Casey Brassfield, Cody Brassfield, Corey Brassfield, Joseph Moore, Justin Moore, Michael Pettit, Spencer Pettit, and David Shumpert will serve as Pallbearers, Elvis Englehardt will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Delaine Moore, Sr, mother, Dorothy Wells, sister, Judy Lynn Moore, and a brother, David Delaine Moore.
