Geneva Bray Edwards, 86 of Holcomb, Mississippi died on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at her Daughter's Residence.
Born Friday, March 22, 1929 in Randolph, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late John Almond Bray and the late Ora
Esther Henry Bray.
She was retired from Grenada Lake Medical Center, as a surgical clerk, former CNA, and ward clerk.
She was a member of Holcomb Baptist Church, involved in W.M.U. and Sunday School Teacher. She was preceded in death
by her parents, her husband, Bro. Durell L. Edwards, Brothers, Lathan Bray, David Bray, and Lawayne Bray.
Surviving are sons, Larry (Sarah) Edwards of Coila, MS, Ronald (Judy) Edwards of Carrollton, MS and Donald (Margaret)
Edwards of Holcomb, MS, daughters, Linda Lewis of Holcomb, MS, Becky (Johnny) Long of Holcomb, MS, Lori Lance of
Holcomb, MS and Rhonda (Tim) Bailey of Holcomb, MS, sisters, Johnnie Genette Dubard of Senatobia, MS and Sarah Jo
(Robert) Baker of Bruce, MS. Fourteen Grandchildren, Thirty one Great-Grandchildren, and Five Great-Great Grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Holcomb Baptist Church with the Bro. Kevin Tribble and Bro. Larry
Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Bruce, MS., with a 3PM Graveside Service on Saturday, February
6, 2016, in Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chris Edwards, Gabe Edwards, Michael Edwards, Rodney Edwards, Tom Edwards, Trey Lance, and David Lewis. Honorary
pallbearers will be Tim Bailey, Randy Carver, Bubba Lance, Johnny Long and Rodney Mainelli.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Holcomb Baptist Church, in Holcomb,Mississippi.
Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce has charge of the arrangements.
