Glenda Kay Bowling Mann, 64, of Bruce passed from this life on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at her daughter's residence in Bruce after an extended illness. She was Born on March 20, 1958, in Vardaman to the late Billy W Bowling and Annie Lou Holloway Armstrong.
Glenda spent her days as a homemaker looking after the needs of her family. While she loved her children, her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she cherished the time spent with them. When she wasn’t loving on her family, Glenda could joyfully be found heating up the kitchen while cooking a delectable meal. Aside from cooking, she loved spending her time of leisure at the lake, especially going for a swim. Although Glenda has departed from our lives, her treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of her loved ones
She leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in her absence; three sons: Jeremey (Jenna)Hillhouse; Chris (Lisa) Hillhouse; one daughter, Kandice (Dean) Mann; two sisters: Angie Tallent; Rhonda Tutor; one brother, Charles (Amy) Bowling; eight grandchildren: Brooke Hillhouse, Anna Young, Kylie Hillhouse, Kelsey Hillhouse, Jacob Hillhouse, Jesse Hillhouse, Luke Young, and Steve Hillhouse; three great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Retha Bowling.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Billy W Bowling and Annie Lou Holloway Armstrong; one brother, Kenneth Bowling.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. The funeral service celebrating her life will take place on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Linn Hughes officiating. Kevin Bowling, Dewayne Brassfield, Brian Frizzell, Jessie Hillhouse, Ben Tutor, and Jason Tutor will carry her to rest in Oak Springs Cemetery. Jacob Hillhouse, Steve Hillhouse, Aston Mann, Tanor Mann, and Luke Young will serve as honorary pallbearers.
