He is survived by his wife, Janet Sue Corley McKay, his mother, Marjorie Coker Chapman (James),
one daughter, Melissa "Missy" Townes, two sons, John K. McKay (Pam), Shane McKay (Mackenzie),
two step-sons, Larry "Duece" Prewett (Amanda), Bradley Prewett, two sisters, Brenda Allen, Reba Hodge, two brothers, Joe Pilkington, Jimmy Muncher and Nine Grandchildren.
