Harley Lee Winter, 87 of Bruce, Mississippi died at his home on Sunday, September 25, 2016
Born Tuesday, August 27, 1929, he was the son of the late James Enoch Winter and the late Rena Parker Winter Cooner. He
was the husband of Charlene Davis Winter.
Retired from body work and painting.
He was a Veteran of The U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and a member of Antioch Baptist Church, an avid Coon Hunter and lover of out door living and wood working.
Surviving are his wife, Charlene Davis Winter of Bruce, MS. sons, Mike (Robbie) Winter of Bruce, MS and Richard (Becky) Winter of Bruce, MS, daughters, Wanda (Dale)
Patterson of Bruce, MS and Lori (Gary) Washington of Houlka, MS, brother, Levoy Winter of West Point, MS, sisters, Dorothy
Stacy of Water Valley, MS and Jessie Cooner of Water Valley, MS. Fourteen grandchildren, Angie Kelley, Tangie
Washington, Crystal Garcia, Stacy Graefe, Robert Allen Patterson, Ginger York, Joey Winter, Matt Winter, Sean Jeffreys,
Chase Washington, Brandon Winter, Austin Winter, Parker Winter, Ashley Winter, two adopted grandchildren, Jamie Russell and
Josh Russell. Twenty Two great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by son, Tony (Joy) Winter, grandson, Tony Mac Winter, brothers, Charles Cooner and Billy Gene
Cooner, sister, Lavonia Winter.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Darrell Logan and Bro. Josh Gordon
officiating. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery, Bruce, MS. with Military Honors.
Pallbearers will be Sean Jeffreys, Robert Allen Patterson, Jamie Russell, Chase Washington, Austin Winter, Brandon Winter,
Joey Winter, Matt Winter, and Parker Winter. Honorary Pallbearers are Great grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, September 26, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home,
476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
