Harold "Mayor" Haire

Harold E. Haire, 77, of Vardaman departed from this life on Monday, September 26, 2022 at his home in Vardaman, MS. He was born on April 12, 1945 in Calhoun County to the late Elbert Haire and Janie Gay Tutor Haire.

Harold spent many seasons of life as the owner and operator of Haire Trucking LLC for over 20 years. His spent his time hauling logs for his company. He married his wife, Judy Darlene Kilgore Haire on December 12, 1994. Harold will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.

He leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in his absence; wife, Judy Darlene Haire of Vardaman; two sons: Richard (Rebecca) Haire of Vardaman; Justin (Elizabeth) Haire of Vardaman; daughter, Kimberly Gordon of Vardaman; nine grandchildren; brother, Danny (Peggy) Haire of Verona, MS.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Haire and Janie Gay Tutor Haire; sister, Emma Jean Moore.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman. The funeral service honoring Harold's life will take place on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral in Vardaman with Bro. Robert Earl Alexander and Bro. Tommy Galloway officiating. Bradley Gordon, Briley Gordon, Doug Haire, Jonathon Haire, Layne Haire, and Wesley Moore will carry Harold to rest in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Tony Kilgore, Everette "Lilbit" Parker will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
