Bruce, MS – Helen Maxine Aston Braddock, 84, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at Baptist Nursing Home in Calhoun City. She was born January 6, 1933 to the late parents of James Earl Aston and Ethel Octavia Singleton Aston. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was a devoted homemaker and a retired seamstress for Glenn Slacks Garment Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Braddock, two brothers, John Luther Aston and Thomas Morris Aston.
Survivors are three daughters, Carolyn Burger “Duane”, Lake City, FL, Gina Hoskins “Terry”, Eva, Al and Debbie Braddock, Pontotoc, MS; two sons, Roy Braddock and David Braddock “Linda” both of Bruce, MS; five sisters, Trilla Blue, Vardaman, MS, Mattie Nabors, Cape Gerado, MO, Mary Ellen Buregeron, Homa, LA, Sue Douthell, AL and Carolyn Boatwright, Dalton, GA; a brother, Hubert Aston, “Kay” Pontotoc, MS. Grandchildren, Karri McCormick, Brandy Doss, Camilla Bagwell, Nathan Braddock, Timothy Braddock, Dennis Braddock, Candias Johnson, Tiffany Russell, Martha Kennedy, Daniel Braddock, Nancy McClore, Brady Collins, Robby Wall, Debarah Braddock, Stephanie Braddock, Steven Braddock and James Braddock. Twenty five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. till service time at 2:00 p.m., with Bro. Will Turner officiating. Burial will in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Braddock, Dennis Braddock, Joseph Braddock, Timothy Braddock, Brady Collins, Dalton Doss, Terry Hoskins, Robby Walls.
