Helen Virginia Mcgonagill Wheeler

Helen Virginia McGonagill Wheeler, 76 of Ellisville, Mississippi formerly of Columbus, MS. died on Sunday, October 23, 2016, at her residence in Ellisville, Mississippi.
Born Thursday, March 7, 1940 in Tula, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late William Arnold Jones and the late
Ruthie Cledia May Jones.
She was a retired L.P.N. and a avid daylily gardener.
Surviving are a daughter, Melinda (Larry) Harrison of Columbus, MS, a sister, Ruth (Stanford) Gandy of Paris, MS. a daughter -in-law, Alicia McGonagill (Carl) Havens of Calhoun City, MS. Seven grandchildren, Patrick McGonagill of Buckhorn, MS, Holley McGonagill of Calhoun City, MS. Anna Grace McGonagill of Calhoun City, MS. Blake Williams of Columbus, MS. Heather (Jason)Pohlmann of Columbus, MS. John Thomas Sams of Columbus, MS. Levi Rodgers of Columbus, MS. Four great grandchildren, six extended grandchildren, thirteen extended  great grandchildren, one extended great great grandchild. Host of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by the father of her children  Todd D. McGonagill, a son, Christopher Todd McGonagill, a daughter, Lorretta Jan McGonagill, a brother, Robbie Ray Jones.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday at New El Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will be in New El Bethel
Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Harrison, Clay Hunt, Jeff Jones, Timmy Jones, Less Miller, and Ty Ratliff.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral
