Vardaman, MS - Charles “ Henry” Moore, 70, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at N.M.M.C., Tupelo. He was born February 15, 1948 in Vardaman to the late parents of George Wesley Moore and Willie Alvis White Moore. He was a farmer and a Baptist in faith. His passion was spending time with his family and hunting, fishing, gardening and talking with his friends on the C.B. radio.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Louise Steward Moore, Vardaman; daughter, Lisa Ann (John) Campbell, Bruce; son, Charles Wesley (Marie) Moore, Vardaman; brother, David Hellums (Nelda), Pearl; grandchildren, Cody Allen Liles, (Kansas & John Henry), Bruce; Bridget Moore, (Kallie – Kaden – Kingston), Vardaman; Jessica Hitt, (J.J. & John Wesley), Calhoun City; Charlsie Moore (Charlee Jo) Houston, Tori Campbell, Bruce. 6 great-grandchildren. Host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, Vardaman from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel with Bro. Robert Earl Alexander and Dr. J.R. Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tracy Angle, John Campbell, Richard Haire, Rodney Hellums, Barry Hood, Cody Liles, Homer Moore, and Wes Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Cook “Cookie”, Jamie & Joy Earp, Ricky & Diana Earp, Edmond Hellums “Monkey Wrench”, Danny Murphree “Tom Cat”, Randy McKinney, Jimmy Pratt “Night Owl”, Tommy Dean Steward.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Louise Head and a brother, Johnny Moore.
