Herbert Cardwell, Jr., 75 of Vardaman, Mississippi died on Monday, September 12, 2016, at Calhoun Health Services
Hospital in Calhoun City, Mississippi.
Born Thursday, May 1, 1941 in Vardaman, Mississippi, he was the son of the late William Cardwell and Eula Tallant
Cardwell. He was the husband of the late Barbara Stone Cardwell.
He was a former employee of Vardaman Hardware, and a member of Vardaman First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are sons, Herbert Clifton Cardwell of Vardaman, MS and Timothy Wayne Cardwell of Big Creek, MS, sisters,
Wynette Buckley of Greenwood, MS, Ruth Andrews of Calhoun City, MS and Marie "Kitty" Logan. Four grand children,
Latrieece Cardwell, Jeff Cardwell, Melvin Cardwell, Lori Ann Cardwell.
He was predeceased by his parents, and wife, a son, Jeff Cardwell, brothers, David Hickenbottom and Lee Hickenbottom.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Vardaman United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Robinson
and Rev. Alan Hall officiating. Interment will be in Pine Crest Memorial Garden, Calhoun City, MS.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Cardwell, Melvin Cardwell, Stacy Free, Richard Haire, Michael Kendall, and J.J. Pendergraph.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home,
, Vardaman, Mississippi.
