Hiram Welborn McKibben, Jr., 72, passed this earthly life on May 14, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford after a brief illness. He was born December 5, 1948, in Bruce to the late Hiram Welborn McKibben, Sr. and Catherine Peeples McKibben.
Hiram was a graduate of Bruce High School Class of 1966. He began his work career at Heatcraft and retired from there after some 42 years of work. He also served his country with the Mississippi National Guard, serving 8 years in service to our country. He attended Westside Baptist Church where he enjoyed worshiping our Savior and the fellowship of believers. He also enjoyed the fellowship of the coffee drinkers at Joe’s Market, where he could get caught up on the latest news and sports. His greatest pride was spending time with his family and most especially his granddaughter, Saylor.
