Eudie Idell York, 83 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Bruce Community Living Center in Bruce,
Mississippi.
Born Sunday, March 5, 1933 in Pittsboro, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Ira McCormick and the late Euris
Tutor McCormick. She was the wife of Charles York.
She was formerly employed by Wildwood Church and Daycare and a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband Charles H. York of Bruce, MS. a son, Jeffrey York and wife Kricket of Davenport, FL, brothers,
Melvis McCormick of Bruce, MS, E.L. "Bunkie" McCormick and wife Louise of Bruce, MS, J.M. "Jammup" McCormick and wife Virginia Ree of Bruce, MS, J.D. "Peanut" McCormick and wife Virginia Rae of Houlka, MS, Ottis Wayne "Pop" McCormick and wife Jimmie K. of Saltillo, MS and Clovis "Newt" McCormick and wife Alice of Bruce, MS, sister, Bobbie McCormick and husband Harvie of Abbeville, MS; Three grand children; Angie, Nikki, and Sarah. Two great grand children, Abbie and Grace.
She was predeceased by son, Ricky York, sister, Dorthy Harville.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Darrell Logan and Bro. Robert Earl
Alexander officiating. Interment will be in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Pittsboro, MS.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Bishop, Herbert Dickson, Craig McCormick, Jon McCormick, Matthew McCormick and Scotty McCormick.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral
