Inez Baker

Mrs. Inez Simmons Baker, 94, of Batesville, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Batesville. She was born November 5, 1919 in Denison, TX to the late William Alfred and Johnnie Thelma Moore Simmons. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and a retired retail salesperson.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Good Hope Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Martin and Rev. Brad Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Sunday at the church.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Still (Bill) of Pope, MS; one son, Jimmy Baker (Nancy) of Batesville; one sister, Nellie Anthony of Arlington, TN; two brothers, John Simmons of Eads, TN and J.E. Simmons of Millington, TN; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, R.H. "Tiny" Baker and a sister, Sara Richardson.
Pallbearers will be Cody Appleton, Jeremy Appleton, Macel Appleton, Jason Baker, Justin Baker, Jeff Gordon and Kevin Still. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Baker and Rowan Baker.
