Inez Shelton Brewer

Bruce, MS – Inez Shelton Brewer, 91, passed this earthly life Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Pennington Point Assisted Living Center in Memphis after a lengthy illness. She was born May 19, 1927 in Bruce to the late parents of Jake P. Shelton and Lavera Beckett Shelton.  She was a devoted homemaker and a member of Bruce First Baptist Church and also a former member of the Eastern Star of Bruce #9.

Inez was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Curtis Brewer, son, Michael Dean Brewer, sister, Ruth S. Patterson and a brother, Tillman Shelton.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Buckner (Jerry), Mem phis; grandchildren, Caroline Brewer, Dylan Brewer, Jason Buckner, Angela Moabed and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until graveside service time, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Memory Memorial Garden with Dr. Bobby Douglas officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Brewer, Jason Buckner, Chris Shelton and Jan Shelton.
