Irma Jean Landreth Stribling, 92, passed this earthly life on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Specialty Hospital in Jackson Tennessee. She was born in Coffeeville, MS on February 16, 1932, to the late Alvin Landreth and Mamie Wright Landreth.
Irma was a graduate of Ellard High School. She was an accounting clerk for Webster Pharmaceutical, Parts Incorporated, and later United Agri Products. She worshiped her Lord at Covenant Baptist Church in Collierville where she was an active member until her health declined. She loved her family and friends, loved to cook, and share with everyone.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Alvin Finley Stribling; parents Alvin and Mamie Wright Landreth; sisters: Helen Landreth, Eva Chapman, and Nola Faye Mannocchio; brothers Jessie Landreth, Cephus Landreth, and Carl Landreth; and great granddaughter Regina McBride.
Those left to honor her memory are her sons: Steve Stribling, of Bartlett, TN; Mark (Barbara) Stribling, of Sevierville, TN; and Luke Stribling, of Stanton, TN; sister Louise Cheatham, of Stanton, TN; grandchildren: Evan Stribling, Shane Stribling, Christina Stribling, Matt Arendale, and Ryan Arendale; and five great grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Irma Stribling will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. The funeral honoring her life will be Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce with Dr. John Enoch officiating. Burial will be in Bruce Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dave Aleshire, Ryan Arendale Stuart McCown, Kody Stribling, Shane Stribling and Heath Wells.
