James Hugh "Jack" Davidson, 71, died October 16, 2017 at Country Side Health Center, Buchanan, GA. He was born November 16, 1945 in Georgia to the late parents of Hugh Davidson and Mildred Quarles Davidson. He was a self employed master electrician doing commercial and residential electrical services. Jack previously owned a stock car race tract and loved car racing sport. Jack was a former deacon and member of Douglasville First Baptist Church in Douglasville, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Jerry Blake Fox.
His surviving family is a daughter, Melissa "Kenny" Blount, Randolph, MS; two sons, Scott Davidson, Mantee, MS and Justin Davidson, Douglasville, GA; wife, Brenda Crowe Davidson, Johnson City, TN and a grandson, Hunter Davidson.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the services to fallow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel; with Bro. Wayne Ward officiating. Burial will be in Memory Memorial Garden.
Pallbearers will be Logan Coley, Todd Coley and Brian Franklin. Honorary Pallbearer is Scott Davidson.
