Jack Allan Schantz

Jack Allan Schantz, 87, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, after a extended illness.  He was born in Traverse City, Michigan on January 26, 1931.  He was a furniture factory worker before his retirement.  He had a bond with his pets and dogs, he  loved to train them in obedience and tricks.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Guthrie Schantz.
He is survived by his sons, Willie Bevill, Eupora, Danny Bevill, Vardaman, Carl Bevill, Jr., Vardaman and Rickey Nix (Joy), Derma; a sister, Audrey Schantz, Traverse City, MI; 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, march 4, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. till 12:00P.M. at the funeral home in Bruce.  Graveside services will be Sunday at Rocky Mount Cemetery at 12:30P.M. with Bro. Elliott Ward officiating.
