Jackie Fay Sharp

Jackie Sharp, 80, departed from this life on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford, MS. She was born on April 2, 1941, to the late Charlie Sharp and Lillie Bell Suelle Sharp.

Jackie was a homemaker that devoted her life to looking after the family she so deeply cherished. Aside from spending quality time with family and friends, Jackie enjoyed crafting and taking pictures.  Jackie was member of New El Bethel Baptist Church. Jackie was a loving and caring person. She was someone who will be missed greatly and forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Those left to cherish Jackie's memory are her two brothers Travis (Patsy) Sharp, of Water Valley, and Barnie (Nub) Sharp, of Oxford; one sister Wanda Lambert, of Water Valley; three nieces: Karen (Ron) Wallace, of Oxford, Tammy (Scott) Story, of Water Valley, and Amanda (Brice) Poynor, of Paris; five nephews: Troy Jr. (Jo) Stark, of Oxford, Ronnie (Loraine) Stark, of Water Valley, Barry Sharp, of Oxford, Scott Sharp, of Oxford, and James (Melody) Sharp, of Oxford. Jackie also leaves behind a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews that she treated as her own grandchildren.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Charlie Sharp and Lillie Bell Sharp; three sisters: Martha Crocker, Patsy Sharp, and Betty Stark; and one niece Lisa Melton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 05, 2022, from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. The funeral service celebrating her life will take place on Saturday, February 05, 2022, at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Snow officiating. Barry Sharp, James Sharp, Scott Sharp, Tyler Sharp, Ronnie Stark, and Troy Stark Jr. will carry Jackie to rest in Webb Cemetery. Gary Bratton and John Brady Sharp will serve as honorary pallbearers.
