James Brown

James Mitchell Brown, of Bruce, passed away at his home on September 23, 2024. Born on August 24, 1955 at he age of 69. James lived a fulfilling life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. He leaves behind a legacy of joy and kindness that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

James was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, rising to the rank of TSGT. Beyond his military service, he found joy in simple pleasures such as watching television, singing karaoke, playing pool, and owning his cherished restaurant, Little Mama's. He was also a dedicated member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

In his passing, James is survived by his daughter, Amanda King, his grandchildren Laura Jean King, John Perkins, and his great-grandchildren Zayden Tillman, Easton King, and Tyson King. His presence brought warmth and laughter to all those around him, and his memory will be treasured for years to come.

James was preceded in death by: a grandchild James Brown King, and a great grandchild, Evelyn Grace King.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
