James Otis Browning

James Otis Browning, 73 passed away on March 18, 2016, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
He was born March 20, 1942 in Mobile, AL.
He was a member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church, a 32nd. degree Mason and a Shriner. James retired with the U.S. Army after twenty six years of service and spent six years with the U.S. Marine's. After his time in service he retired from Alco Aluminum with thirty years of service as a mechanical craft specialist.
James was preceded in death by his parents the late Marshall Otis and Louise Melton Browning.
He is survived by his precious family, his wife, Patrecia Poteete Browning of Bruce, MS. Three sons, James Otis Browning II (Jay), San Diego, CA, Kevin Lee Browning (Dawn), Bruce, MS, Marshall Otis Browning II (Aundrea), Bruce, MS. A daughter, Kristyn Kelly Browning, (Alex), Paris, MS. Six granddaughters, six grandsons and one great grandson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at Parker memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Dr. J.R. Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Comfort Cemetery, with military honors at graveside. The Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00P.M. Monday .
Pallbearers will be Jessie Barnett, Holly Easley, W.R. Hensley, Tommy Lacastro, Randy Schmitz and Ryder Ward. Honorary pallbearers are his military friends.
