James Caples

James Lamar Caples, 71 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at his Residence in Bruce,
Mississippi.
Born Saturday, August 21, 1943, he was the son of the late John Caples and the late Alpha Jarett Caples Collins.
He was the husband of Billie Sue Collins Caples.
He was a retired welder for Memphis Hardwood.
He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, a Mason, and a Shriner.
Surviving are son, Stanley Hank Thompson and wife Angie of Bruce, MS, daughters, Susan Mize of Athens, GA, Kim
Carr and husband Orville of Bruce, MS, Bonnie Taylor and husband Bob of Hopkinsville, KY and Tracey Bailey of
Bruce, MS, Three sons, Mitchell Caples, Lynn Caples, and Jessie Caples all of Houston, MS. brothers, Paul Caples and wife Karen of Wentzville, MO and Bro. Phillip Caples and wife Judy of Corinth,
MS; 14 grand children; 6 great grand children.
He is preceeded in death by a step-daughter, Diane Cleveland.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with the Bro. Will Turner
officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Comfort Cemetery, with Masonic rights.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist
Church, Bruce, Mississippi.
Masons will serve as palllbeares
Honorary Pallbearers will be: His Grandchildren, and Rooster friends.
