James Robert Clements

Calhoun City, MS – James Robert Clements, 70, passed away, February 10, 2018 at his home in Calhoun City. He was a past employee of Furniture Wood in Vardaman where he worked in the Maintenance Department. He was born, October 24, 1947 in Grenada to the late parents of George J. Clements and Elizabeth Jane Barnett Clements.

He was a member of Sabougla Baptist Church. James Robert loved and was loved by his family and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and late wife Janelle Keeton.

Survivors are a step daughter, Lisa Free “Wayne”, Vardaman, MS; two step grandsons, Jonathan Free and Taylor Jones, Calhoun City, MS; a brother, George B. Clements “Christine”, Calhoun City, MS and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Vardaman at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Jimmy Vance officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till service time on Tuesday. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Calhoun County.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Harris, Robert Hughes, Nathan Jones, Gary Kellum, Bill Kirkman and Jeff Robertson.
