James Ray Harrison, 84 of Coffeeville, Mississippi died on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Grace Health and
Rehab in Grenada, Mississippi.
Born Friday, August 1, 1930 in Coffeeville, Mississippi, he was the son of the late George Harrison and the late
Emma Davis Harrison. He was the husband of La Rose Spurgeon Harrison.
He was employed by Louisiana Pacific.
He served in the Army. He was a Veteran of Korea.
He was a faithful member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Keith (Vicki) Harrison of Coffeeville, MS, daughter, Sonja (James) Chrestman of Coffeeville, MS,
brother, George Guinn (Elsie) Harrison of Coffeeville, MS, sister, Johnnie Sue (Jesse) Rogers of Grenada, MS; 5
grand children; 1 great grand child.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Interment will be in Pine Grove
Cemetery, Grenada, MS.
Pallbearers will be: Stanley Caulder, Gaylon Gray, Andy Harrison, Phil Harrison Kevin Marter, Tim Osborn, Ronnie
Tritt, and Stirling Wright.
