James Potts, 66 of Water Valley, Mississippi died on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at his Residence in Water
Valley, Mississippi.
Born Monday, March 1, 1948, he was the son of the late Arvie N. Potts and the late Mary Clyde Joblin Potts. He
was the husband of Lottie Galloway Potts of Water Valley, MS.
He was a member of Drivers Flat Baptist Chruch.
Surviving are son, Tony & Friend (Cindy) Potts of Banner, MS, daughter, Paula (Al) McDonald of Paris, MS, brother,
Alvie (Lou) Potts of Paris, MS, sister, Annie (Barney) Sharp of Paris, MS. Two Grandsons, Bradley (Megan)
McDonald and Blake (Katie) McDonald, Granddaughter, Brittannee Potts, one Great granddaughter, Lura Kathryn
McDonald.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Newell Potts, Bill Potts, and Dooley Potts, and a sister, Mary
Lou Potts.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Dennis
Dorris officiating. Interment will be in Drivers Flat Cemetery, Banner, MS.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home.
