Jeanette King

Jeanette Collins King, of Bruce, passed away on November 12 ^th , 2018 following an extended illness. Born on June 23 ^rd , 1931 to Miles Paul Collins and Virgie Mae Armstrong Collins, Mrs. King was 87.
A devoted homemaker for her family, Mrs. King was also a past employee of both Kellwood Company and D.S.L. Garment Company. In addition to her family, she leaves behind friends as a member of Old Town Baptist Church. Friends and family alike share in the loss of the many lives her caring heart and personality touched.
Mrs. King is survived her devoted Husband of 70 years, James Norris King of Bruce; Daughter Brenda Harrelson of Bruce; Sister Allie Gulledge of Bruce; Grandchildren LaDonna (Shane) O’Bannon, Tim (Krystal) King, Corey (Rhonda) Harrelson, Jared (Jill) Harrelson, and Jeffery King; Great Grandchildren Jodie Gregory, Austin King, Allison Haire, Dakota King, Kodie O’Bannon, Dylan King, Milo King, Meagan Harrelson, and Zoey Harrelson; and Great-Great Grandchild Tate King.
There will be a visitation with the family on Wednesday, November 14 ^th , 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. Following visitation, a funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. King will start at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Brother Darrell Logan and Brother Sam Yarbrough will officiate services.
Immediately following funeral services, Mrs. King will be laid to eternal rest at Mt. Comfort Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Buddy Dickerson, Austin King, Dakota King, Shane O'Bannon, Ronnie Poteete and Tim Sutherland.
Mrs. king was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers James Collins, Doyle Collins, Bayne Collins, and Son Larry King.
