Jeffrey Lynn Allen

Jeffrey Lynn Allen, 53, passed away, Thursday, February 8, 2018, at his Mother's home in Marshall after a brief illness.  Jeffrey was born February 8, 1965 in Shreveport, LA.  He worked as a commercial electrician in Marshall and surrounding area.  He was a handyman who had a passion for clock's as a  collector and repairman of clocks.  Jeffrey was a member of The Church of Marshall in Texas where he worshiped his savior.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Glen Allen.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Matthew Lynn Allen, Marshall, TX, Lucas Mark Allen "Elizabeth", Marshall, TX; mother, Helen Murphree Shipman "Tim", Marshall, TX; father, Glen A. Allen, Karnack, TX; a brother, Terry Allen "Rita", Marshall, TX, a sister, Angie Weldon, "Pete", Bruce, MS; a granddaughter, Maci Blake Allen; three step grandchildren, Alexandra Favalora, Alysia Braun, Allison Braun; one step great granddaughter, Addison Tucker and a host nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him.
A service honoring Jeffrey's life will be Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce at 1:00 P.M. with Sister Mae Carter delivering the eulogy and assisting in the service will be Bro. Tim Cook. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time on Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Andy Allen,  Brad Allen, Dusty Allen, T.J. Allen, Tony Joe Allen and Will Weldon.
