Jennifer LeAnn Aston of Pittsboro, MS passed from her earthly home to her eternal home on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born on October 28, 1980 in Greenwood, MS to Jerry Burkeen and Cathie Barnett Tallant.
Jennifer was a homemaker and a stay at home mom. She enjoyed music, crafting, girl road trips and following the high school band performances. Jennifer was of Baptist faith.
Jennifer leaves behind her precious family members: husband, Steven Paul Aston of Pittsboro, MS; one daughter, Rylee Elizabeth Aston of Pittsboro, MS; two sones, Will Aston and Dylan Kyle Aston of Pittsboro, MS; two sisters, Crista Burkeen, Corinth, MS, Bethany Ferguson, Banner, MS and honorary sister, Brandy (Justin) Ware, Pittsboro, MS; one brother, Codie (Renee) Banton, Bruce, MS; Mother, Cathie (Ricky) Tallant, Bruce, MS; Father-in-law, Robert Aston, Calhoun City, MS; Brother-in-law, James Aston, Calhoun City, MS; Sister-in-law, Crystal Aston and family, Batesville, MS, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Jerry Burkeen.
A funeral service honoring Jennifer will be held Monday, September 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Chad Logan, Bro. Darrell Logan, Bro. James Taylor, and Turner Moore officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce, MS. Internment will follow at Oak Springs Cemetery in Derma, MS.
Pallbearers are Caiden Burkeen, Jayden Grist, Brett Pendergrass, Royce Tidwell, Justin Ware and Terry Weaver. Honorary pallbearers Ashanti Moore, Gracen Ware and Jordan Ware.
