Jerral Dean Bowles

Jerral Dean Bowles, 86, of Houlka, departed from this life on Wednesday, November 01, 2023, at Aberdeen Care Center in Aberdeen, MS. He was born on June 05, 1937, in Oxford, MS, to the late James Everette Bowles and Maude Leona Leath Bowles.

Jerral spent many seasons of life working in home improvement. In his spare time, Jerrall loved collecting cans and "junk." People in the community would save cans for him to come around and collect. He was a devoted member of Springdale Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sister, Iris Patterson of Houlka, MS; Jerral also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.

Jerral is preceded in death by his parents, James Everette Bowles and Maude Leona Leath Bowles; brother, Merrill Bowles.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 03, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Springdale Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral service remembering Jerral’s life will take place on Friday, November 03, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Springdale Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Rich Dilling officiating. Burial will follow in Springdale Cemetery. Mike Bowles, Steve Bowles, Ryan Mallory, Dean Patterson, Scott Patterson, Terry Saunders, and Jeff Stout will serve as pallbearers.
