Jerry Lamar Daniel

Jerry Lamar Daniel, 66 of Houlka, Mississippi, died on Monday, September 29, 2014, at the Church Street
Personal Care Home of Ecru in Ecru, Mississippi.
Born Wednesday, December 24, 1947 in Bruce, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Rex Lamar Daniel and
Mamie Pearl Prewett Daniel.
He was retired from the Houston Postal Service where he was a city carrier, served in The U.S. Army during the
Vietnam War. He was a member of Robbs Methodist Church, member of Bruce VFW, DAV and American Legion. He
loved fishing.
Surviving are his wife Sandra Thompson Daniel of Houlka, MS. one daughter, Angie (Tucker) Mayo of Pontotoc, MS. Grandson, Jeffery Kyle Daniel.
sisters, Faye (Herb) Wilkinson of Vicksburg, MS and Martha Lecornu of Robbs, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Jeffery Lamar Daniel.
A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel
with the Bro. Scotty Bland and Bro. Wayne Ward officiating. Interment will be in Robbs Cemetery, Pontotoc, MS. Pallbearers will be Dr. Jim Aaron, Joe Aaron, Stephen Routh, Hank Thompson, Bert Wilkinson, Brad Wilkinson. Honorary pallbearers, Jim Earp, Jim Gray, Charles McCord, Bill Ross, Postal Service Co-workers.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at Parker Memorial
Funeral Home, in Bruce, Mississippi.
