Jerry Fred Bryant

Jerry Fred Bryant, 77, of Vardaman passed from this life on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at his home. Born on December 5, 1943 in the Rocky Mt Community, he was a son to the late Victor Lee Bryant and Glady Delsia McGreger Bryant.

Jerry Fred spent fifty-eight years married to his loving wife Malinda Inman Bryant. The couples union gave life to three children, five grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.  He spent many seasons of his life traveling the highways and byways of the United States as a truck driver. Aside from shifting gears and switching lanes, Jerry Fred was a skilled carpenter. He spent his spare time raising Cockatiels, Parakeets, and tending to his goldfish ponds. However, when he wanted to get away from the sounds of life you could him in woods hunting or floating on the lake fishing.

Jerry leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in his absence; wife, Malinda Inman Bryant of Vardaman; two sons: Victor Bryant of Vardaman; Michael (Tina) Bryant of Vardaman; one daughter, Kimberly (Erick) Diaz of Vardaman; one brother, Don (Lynn) Bryant of Brandon; two sisters: Jane Roane of Nesbit; Linda Collins of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; five grandchildren: Ashely Moore, Michael Bryant Jr., Harlie Bryant, Summer Kilgore, and Shawn Kilgore; fourteen great grandchildren .

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Lee Bryant and Glady Delsia McGreger Bryant; one grandchild, Madison Bryant; one great grandchild, Makynli Voyles.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Vardaman. The funeral service remembering Jerry's life will take place on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral with Bro. Don Bryant officiating.
