Jerry Wayne Tutor

Mr.Jerry Wayne Tutor, 69, of Water Valley passed from this life on May 24,2019 at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson after an extended illness. Jerry was born in Vardaman on July 18, 1949 to the late R.V Tutor and Valder Wayne Clark Tutor.

Jerry spent many seasons of his life working in the great outdoors as a logger from which he ultimately retired to pursue his hobbies fulltime. Mr. Tutor was a true outdoorsman, and took great joy in spending time with God’s creations from the thrill of fox hunt to the eagerness of catching a big ole fish. Jerry placed his salvation in the Lord and was a member of Banner Baptist.

Jerry leaves behind his loving wife Rhonda Bowling Tutor; Two sons, Craig Tutor (Sandee) of Bruce ,and Scott Tutor (Ashley) of Bruce; One daughter, Emily Snellings (Shawn) of Bruce; One brother, Herman Tutor (Janie) of Houlka; Eleven grandchildren, Ashley Logan, Tori Tutor, Ethan Snellings, Jackson Snellings, Jace Tutor, Lily Kate Tutor, Olivia Snellings, Peyton Cole Tutor, Ashton Tutor, Mary Haire , Swayze Tutor; One great grandchild. He was preceded in death his parents R.V Tutor and Valder Wayne Clark Tutor; One son. Jason Tutor; Four brothers, Larry Tutor, Terry Tutor, Dale Tutor, and Rickey Tutor

The family will receive friends on Sunday May 26,2019 from 5:00 P.M - 8:00 P.M at Parker Memorial Funeral in Bruce. In addition to the visitation a funeral service honoring the life of Jerry will be held on Monday May 27, 2019 beginning at 2:00 P.M at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. Bro. Bobby Douglas will lead the service with Bro.Darrell Logan assisting. Mr.Tutor will be laid to rest at Banner Cemetery in Banner. Pallbearers helping lay Jerry to rest include; Edwin Baker, Dean Brummett, Jerry Bouge, Barry Lee, Jan Shelton, Dennis Wills, Levi Wills ,and Dean Wright. Jerry's grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers
