Jimmy  Ray Griffin, 71 of Houlka, Mississippi passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in
Oxford, MS.
Jimmy Ray was retired from Calhoun County District 2, Maintenance Department as a truck driver operator.
Born Monday, June 4, 1945, in Calhoun county, MS. he was the son of the late Joseph Griffin and the late Janet Peden
Griffin. He was the husband of Sarah Griffin.
Surviving are his wife Sara Logan Griffin of Houlka, MS. daughters, Brenda Crawford of Conyers, GA and Sherry (Terry)
Weaver of Bruce, MS, brothers, Randy (Brenda) Griffin of Bruce, MS and Rick (Catherine) Griffin of Ecru, MS, sisters, Bessie
Mae (Cecil) Starks of Smithville, MS and Debbi (Danny) Harrelson of Bruce, MS.
He was predeceased also by brothers, Bobby Joe Griffin, Raymond Griffin and James Russel Griffin, sister, Dorthy Griffin.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Jamie Stark and Bro. Rick Griffin
officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Mount cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cory Griffin, Joey Griffin, Marty Griffin, Terry Griffin, Timmy Griffin, Tracy Griffin, Jahew Harrelson, and
Ben Stark . Honorary Pallbearers are Alton Griffin, Craig Griffin, Jeff Griffin, Matt Griffin, Mike Griffin, Tony Griffin, and Dave
Schuler.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home,
476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
