Jimmy Frank Hollis

Calhoun City, MS-Jimmy Frank Hollis, 79, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at Batesville, Mississippi after a extended illness.  He was born July 7, 1938 in Calhoun County.  Jimmy Frank was a member of Sabougla Baptist Church and a woodworker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Samuel Hollis and Lucille Wells Hollis, a sister, Frances Jackson and a brother, Joe Earl Hollis.

Those left to honor his memory and survivors are his wife, Hazel Jean Lollar Hollis, Calhoun City, MS; five daughters, Melba Bing "Mickey", Waterford, MS, Jimmie Nell Purdon "Gary', Pontotoc, MS, Carolyn Henderson, Calhoun City, MS, Brenda O'Barr "Frankie", Houston, MS and Betty Spencer "Johnny", Grenada, MS; a son, Joe Hollis "Marie', Grenada, MS; two sisters, Elaine Hollis, Calhoun City, MS and Mary Nell Roberts, Blue Springs, MS; a brother, Butch Hollis, Calhoun City, MS; two grandchildren, Nikkie Bing and Shelia Coleman 'Jamie".

Visitation will be Sunday, October 8, 2017 from 2:00P.M. till service time at 3:00P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce with Bro. Jimmy Vance, officiating.  Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Garden.

Pallbearers are Mickey Bing, James Coleman, Joe Hollis, Danny Kelley, Frankie O'Barr, Gary W. Purdon and Johnny Spencer.
