Jimmy Boyce James

Mr. Jimmie Boyce James, 84 of Southaven, Mississippi died on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Arbors of Olive Grove
Terrace.
Born Monday, October 13, 1930, he was the son of the late Ike James and the late Magolyne McKnight James. He
was the husband of Nell Lockhart James.
He was a graduate of Houlka High School and was retired from Tobacco Product Sales, Hertz car rental, and
farming.
He served in the Army.
He was a member of Southaven First United Methodist Church. He was also a gradute of Houlka High School class
of 1949.
Surviving are daughters, Susan Hicks and husband Bruce of Brentwood, TN, Sheila James of Southaven, MS and
Sherry James of Southaven, MS, sister, Ruth Moore of Memphis, TN. grandchildren, Conner Hicks, and Taylor Hicks
Preceeded in death by, Father-in-law, Ollie Lockhart, mother-in-law, dorothy Bramlett Lockhart
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in
Bruce Cemetery, Bruce, MS.
The Family will recieve friends from 12:30 until 2:00 Saturday May 16 at Parkermemorial Funeral Home in Bruce,
Mississippi.
