Jimmy Neil Mulkey

Jimmy Neil Mulkey, 86, of Bruce, passed away on Friday, June 15 ^th , 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. Jimmy was born June 8 ^th , 1932 to Estell Mulkey and Ercell Nall Mulkey in Calhoun County. A retired logger by trade, the two things Jimmy enjoyed most were spending time with his family and being outdoors.
Jimmy leaves behind his Wife, Annie Melton Mulkey of Bruce; Sons, Billy Dean Mulkey (Patty) of Asheboro, NC, Sean (Sherry) Mulkey of Vardaman, Joe Mulkey of Bruce, and Andy Mulkey of Calhoun City; Daughters, Priscilla (Dean) Murrah of Nesbit, MS, Rita (Terry) Allen of Marshall, TX, and Sandy (Jeff) Ferguson of Bruce; Daughter-In-Law, Rita Mulkey; 19 Grandchildren and 24 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Arlene Castleberry, Molly Bush, Betty Turner, Diane Shows; Brothers, Richard Mulkey, Jerry Mulkey, Bill Joe Mulkey and Numerous Brothers and Sisters including a host of Neices and Nephews. Including his many friends, Jimmy will be missed by all.
There will be a visitation with the family on Saturday Evening, June 16 ^th , 2018 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. A funeral service honoring Jimmy’s life will be held on Sunday, June 17 ^th , 2018 in Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jonathan Hailey leading prayers and worship.
Jimmy will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral service in the cemetery of Antioch Baptist Church, where Jimmy was a member. Pallbearers include T.J. Allen, Wyatt Berry, Everett Crofford, Dakota Ferguson, Kennon Ferguson, Hunter Griggs, Mike Mulkey,  and Mitch Mulkey.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his Parents; Sons, Tony Mulkey, Larry Gene Mulkey and Charles Larry Mulkey; and Daughter, Betty Gann; Grandson, Eric Cooper; Sisters, Shirley Nell Mulkey, Jeanette Melton and Sara Swink.
